I decided to keep the header (and this post) as the first post as a sign of respect for the platform. If you are reading this post then you are apart of the world that I’m saying hello to!! As I write this initial post I have to point out that I have a somewhat sore throat and I think I’m coming down with a cold. I also want to start by welcoming you to this little blog experiment. In case you don’t know (or can’t read the header), MY name is Derek Robinson, and this is MY blog!!
My first order of business is to make a slight off the cuff commentary on the Hello World tag that is the default for wordpress.com. Do I really believe that the world is going to read this? Or would it be better to change this to hello, those who happen upon the blog? I know this is a little trivial but hey, just something that I thought about while creating this first post!!
